Night Time Economy Summit 2025: Shaping the Future of Nightlife

Get ready, night-time advocates! The Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) is bringing Europe’s largest Night Time Economy Summit to the vibrant streets of Birmingham this February. From the 5th to the 6th, the Hockley Social Club will transform into a buzzing hub of nightlife culture, uniting industry leaders, creatives, and innovators from across the globe.

Supported by the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) and an impressive lineup of partners like Skiddle, Defected Records, GigPig, and Gay Times, this summit is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for Birmingham to shine as a beacon of nightlife excellence.

What’s the Big Deal?

Think of it as the Glastonbury of the global night-time economy—but for ideas. With delegates from 20 countries spanning Asia, Australia, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East, the Summit will explore everything from urban safety to cultural innovation and the future of nightlife.

Industry legends like UB40, Eats Everything, Gok Wan, and Danny Howard (to name but a few) will join policymakers like Dame Caroline Dinenage and nightlife advocates such as Sacha Lord to steer conversations on sustainability, inclusivity, and innovation.

Michael Kill, CEO of the NTIA, emphasised the significance of the event: “This landmark event highlights the vital importance of our sector and serves as a platform for innovation, collaboration, and addressing the key challenges we face. It’s an incredible opportunity to showcase the resilience, creativity, and collective strength of the night-time economy as we look to shape its future together.”

Sacha Lord, NTIA Chair and Night Time Economy Adviser, echoed the excitement: “This February’s Night Time Economy Summit in Birmingham is a landmark event for our industry, setting a global benchmark for the night-time community. The conversations and collaborations at this summit will play a crucial role in championing and sustaining vibrant nightlife economies worldwide.”
