Blues lovers, it’s time to dust off your instruments and get ready to jam! After a break, the Red Lion Blues Jam is making its grand return, and it’s kicking off Sunday, October 13th, from 5-8 PM at The Red Lion in Broughton.
If you were around when it first launched in 2012, you’ll know this jam session was a huge success for years—an absolute staple of the local music scene. And now, it’s back!
Whether you’re a seasoned musician or someone who just loves to get involved, this is your time to shine. The jam will have a full setup ready for you—2 guitar amps, a bass amp, and a full drum kit. All you need to bring is your passion (and maybe your favourite instrument if you prefer to play your own)!
But here’s the best part—it’s not just for guitarists or drummers. Sax players, keyboard warriors (the good kind!), harmonica heroes—everyone is welcome! This jam is all about creating open, inclusive music that everyone can vibe to. Local musician Aiden Pryor and The Red Lion team have worked hard to get this event back on the books, and they’re buzzing to see the local talent come out in full force.
