Kettering’s nightlife scene was set alight on October 12th, as the Dance Till Dawn Ibiza Closing Party not only delivered an epic night of sick sounds and endless dancing, but also made a significant impact on the community by raising £1,900 for Cransley Hospice. Organised by Kettering locals Reece Speechley and Rhys Alford, the event showcased the power of music in uniting people and supporting local causes.

A Day to Remember
The day began at The Beeswing pub, where the dancefloor filled up early thanks to an exciting lineup of local DJs. From 2 PM to 10 PM, artists like Ambz, Calz, Hani, Harry Painter, and others delivered sets that transported attendees straight to the Balearic vibes of Ibiza. As the night deepened, the crowd moved over to Aura Bar & Lounge, where the party continued until 3 AM with performances from Andizz, Cole Bannigan, Mikey Whitney, and more, keeping the energy buzzing all night long.
The diversity of the DJ lineup, combined with a crowd that included people of all ages and backgrounds, created a unique and welcoming environment. It wasn’t just a party; it was a celebration of local talent and community spirit.
“This event is a way for us to give local DJs a platform to showcase their talent,” explained Reece Speechley. “After the success of our previous Ibiza Anthems party, we wanted to create something special for those who haven’t had the chance to experience Ibiza.”

Empowering Local Talent
What makes Dance Till Dawn so important is its focus on nurturing emerging local artists. “We’re buzzing to support local DJs, many of whom are playing outside of their homes for the first time,” said Rhys Alford. “We’ve been in their shoes and know how important opportunities like this are. We hope to inspire others to step up and showcase their skills.”
Special guest DJ Danny Upex, aka Dupex, praised the duo for their efforts, saying, “Playing with these guys is always monumental. The support they get, and the line-ups they put together are unreal.” Hani Alhussam, a young DJ who opened the event, shared his excitement: “Dance Till Dawn creates something incredible for local DJs. They offer opportunities right here in Kettering, which is amazing.”

Beyond the music, the event’s charitable aspect gave the night even more meaning. Raising £1,900 for Cransley Hospice is a testament to the power of community. “Kettering is such an amazing town with so much talent and people who want to enjoy live music,” said Reece. “Raising money for Cransley Hospice is absolutely the cherry on top.”
The event was more than just a boost for Cransley Hospice—it was a win for local businesses too. Callun Loomes, landlord at The Beeswing, shared his excitement: “Reece and Rhys did an incredible job. This event was not only fantastic for Cransley Hospice and local talent, but it also gave us a great boost here at The Beeswing. Events like this bring something fresh and exciting to our scene, while welcoming new faces into the pub.”

The funds raised will play a crucial role in supporting Cransley Hospice’s ongoing work in the local community. Rebecca Patenall, Community Fundraiser at the hospice, expressed her gratitude: “A huge thank you to Reece and Rhys for their incredible efforts in helping us get closer to our £10,000 fundraising target. It’s been amazing to see the community come together in support of Cransley Hospice. The Dance Till Dawn events have not only raised vital funds but have introduced us to a whole new audience.”
